Privacy policy

Last updated 7 October 2026

This policy explains what personal information Stillrun Ltd collects, why, and what your rights are. We keep it short and plain.

Who we are

Stillrun Ltd ("Stillrun", "we", "us") is a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17502253. Our registered office is Warehouse 34, Hoults Yard, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE6 2HL.

We are the data controller for the information described here. For anything privacy-related, email info@stillrun.co.uk.

What we collect

  • When you contact us: your name, email address and anything you choose to tell us.
  • When you book a call: your name, email address and any notes you add. Bookings are handled by Google Calendar's appointment scheduling.
  • When we work together: business contact details, invoicing details, and the information about your business we need to do the work.
  • When you visit the website: our hosting provider automatically records technical information such as your IP address, browser and the pages requested, to keep the site secure and working.

We don't use analytics or advertising tracking on this website.

How we use it, and why we're allowed to

  • To reply to you and arrange calls, because we have a legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
  • To deliver work and invoice for it, because it's needed for our contract with you or your business.
  • To keep financial records, because the law requires it.
  • To keep the website secure, because we have a legitimate interest in protecting it.
  • To send occasional updates, only if you've agreed or are an existing client, and you can opt out at any time.

Who we share it with

We never sell your information. We only share it with the services we use to run the business, and only as far as they need it:

  • Google, for email, calendar and booking
  • Vercel, which hosts this website
  • Our accountants and professional advisers
  • Any other provider we use to deliver your project, which we'll tell you about

Some of these providers process data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where they do, the transfer is covered by UK adequacy regulations or approved contract terms that protect your information.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that don't lead to work: up to 2 years.
  • Client and financial records: 6 years after the end of the financial year they relate to, as required by law.
  • Website server logs: kept by our hosting provider for a short period, usually days or weeks.

Cookies

This website doesn't set any cookies or store anything on your device. When you go to book a call, the website loads Google's booking calendar, and Google may set cookies it needs to make the booking work. These are covered by Google's privacy policy.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • give you a copy of the information we hold about you
  • correct anything that's wrong
  • delete your information, where we're not required to keep it
  • restrict or stop using it, or object to how we use it
  • send it to you or another organisation in a usable format

Email info@stillrun.co.uk and we'll respond within one month. There's no charge.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We'd appreciate the chance to put it right first.
